     Narrative

MAYSVILLE, KY – A 62-year-old man died and four people sustained injuries Friday in a three-vehicle collision in east-central Mason County.

The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. along Highway 10 on the west side of Maysville, which is about 67 miles northeast of Lexington.

Police say that a black Chevy Trailblazer carrying three people struck a disabled Corvette and a pedestrian pushing the Corvette along the highway. The Trailblazer then hit a Toyota Camry.

The pedestrian pushing the Corvette, identified as Brian Huron of Maysville, succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash.

Medics transported the driver of the Trailblazer, the driver of the Camry, and a passenger from the Trailblazer to an area hospital in stable condition.

A female passenger from the Trailblazer, identified as Elizabeth Appleman was airlifted to a Cincinnati hospital with life-threatening injuries.
