Narrative

Seven people were hospitalized following a three-car crash that involved two trucks and a nursing home van on April 19th on US 27 S. The incident was started by a red pickup truck that veered in front of a nursing home van near Edgewater Pike. The truck was then disabled and a dump truck collided into it while it was stopped on the road. Out of the nine van occupants, six were hospitalized. Another person was hospitalized, but he was a passenger in the pickup truck. He was sent by air to the University of Kentucky Hospital. The driver of the at-fault truck fled the scene.
