LEXINGTON, KY – A 17-year-old boy died Saturday in a wrong way crash along a major roadway in northeast Lexington.
The incident occurred around 3 p.m. on Bryan Station Road near State Highway 3367. This is just northwest of Hisle Farm Park.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the wreck, which involved at least seven people.
Authorities identified the victim as Frederick Douglass High School student Matthew Perrine.
Medics transported six additional people to the hospital. One of the patients had life-threatening injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
